Pleasurely.com is sponsoring the SNAP (Support Network for Adult Professionals) Xmas Gathering on Friday 9th December 2022 in London.
We are pleased to let our community know as part of being a creator first platform, we are delighted to tell you that Pleasurely.com are sponsoring the SNAP (Support Network for Adult Professionals) Xmas Gathering on Friday 9th December 2022 in London.
Established in 2003 as "United Kingdom Adult Producers" (UKAP), rebranded into "United Kingdom Adult Professionals" (UKAP) in 2019. With the increasing changes within the industry, the organisation rebranded again in 2021 into "Support Network for Adult Professionals" (SNAP) to be open to a wider mix of industry professionals and companies operating in this space.
The organisation now runs as a voluntary, non-profit community interest company. SNAP brings together the UK’s Adult Industry and provide members from all branches of Adult Professionals (performers, content creators, producers, webmasters, etc.) with quality support, education, and advice. The acronym SNAP is made up of four words they feel are inclusive and reflect the diverse make-up of the adult industry we all belong to: Support Network (for) Adult Professionals.
As what was formerly a predominantly producer-led and focused group, SNAP is now a more inclusive association. The new makeup is more geared towards helping, educating, and supporting people within the sector, who make a living from the adult industry. Their aim is to attract a more diverse demographic of members from a range of roles in the industry, to help us all improve our businesses.
SNAP membership provides access to a diverse and knowledgeable member base, with decades of experience in all areas, in which our own CMO Mark Hassell is Chairperson of. They help to provide advice for people in the industry, including important safety developments, mental health, and sexual health issues. They can also help with information regarding copyright infringement, data protection, and important paperwork.
By supporting events like the SNAP Xmas Gathering, Pleasurely is helping the industry and all within it, by providing networking opportunities where creators can relax, chill and interact with their fellow professionals.
“Supporting fantastic events like this not only shows Pleasurely’s commitment to the creators within the industry, but also pushes our brand out to a wider audience who may not have known about us. But as well as this, it allows us to align ourselves with not only the biggest support network for our sector (SNAP) but alongside massive brands like Adultwork.com, Cam4, Harmony Films, Paul Raymond Publications and many others” said Mark Hassell.
